Essendon young gun Nate Caddy has signed a contract extension in a major coup for the struggling club.
Originally set to come of contract in 2028 and multiple clubs including Tasmania circling the emerging forward, Caddy has penned a new three-year deal until 2031.
Caddy, 20, has booted 59 goals from 42 AFL games — including 30 goals from 15 appearances in a career-best 2026 season, despite the club’s woes.
