Affordable housing demand drives DDA to record Rs 1,020 crore Q1 FY27 sales

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) generated a record Rs 1,020 crore in revenue during the first quarter of FY 2026-27, compared to revenue of Rs 462 crore last year in the same period, as reported by news agency PTI. According to an official release, the numbers were fuelled by a robust demand for housing across all categories.“Lieutenant Governor TS Sandhu has been continuously focusing on reimagining the sub-cities developed by DDA, resulting in the authority recording strong housing sales in the first quarter of FY 2026-27,” one official said.The outlierDDA sold 1,284 flats during the quarter, while 1,175 units were sold in the same quarter in the previous financial year. Sub city Narela emerged as the biggest contributor with 1,153 flats sold, accounting for 90% of the total sales.
