U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor hosted a dinner at Roosevelt House on Sunday (October 4, 2026) for Admiral Samuel J. Paparo , Commander of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, during his October 5-8 visit to India, bringing together senior Indian military leadership and officials to highlight the growing U.S.-India Major Defence Partnership.
According to the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, Admiral Paparo joined Chief of Defence Staff General N.S. Raja Subramani, Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth, Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff Air Marshal Tejinder Singh and other senior Indian defence officials at the dinner.
The gathering came as Admiral Paparo is in India to advance the U.S.-India major defence partnership and deepen military-to-military cooperation.
