A two-day consultation on Adivasi agriculture and digitalisation, organised by LibTech India in partnership with Hands of Transition and Future Shift Labs, concluded in Visakhapatnam on Thursday, with participants resolving to carry the conversation forward through advocacy and possible engagement with a parliamentary committee.
Around 70 participants, including Adivasi farmers, researchers and civil society representatives, took part in the consultation, which examined how digital systems such as land records, farmer registries, Aadhaar-linked processes and direct benefit transfers are reshaping access to agricultural and welfare support for tribal communities.
