Adilabad police seize ganja plants, six quintals of subsidised rice in separate cases
Adilabad police have arrested individuals in two separate incidents involving the seizure of ganja plants and the illegal transport of government-subsidized rice. Investigations are currently underway for both cases under the NDPS Act and smuggling regulations.

The Bela police in Adilabad district seized 14 ganja plants from an agricultural field belonging to a man from Thippa village in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district after apprehending him during a vehicle-checking operation at Bela on Tuesday.
The accused was identified as Bheema Govind Athram, 61, of Thippa village. He was apprehended early on Tuesday with 10 grams of dry ganja.
A case was registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation is underway.
