Fresh from graduation at Cebu International School, the Filipino-French adventurist packed a few clothes and tools and a modest commuter bike, then pedaled into the unknown.
He was no competitive cyclist, had done no serious fitness training for this adventure, and knew little about fixing bikes.
What he had instead was determination, a French passport that opened borders, and the faith that strangers along the way would help him survive.
He first learned to ride at seven, but it was during the global pandemic that he began exploring Cebu more deeply.
