Acumatica opens GCC in Hyderabad, to ramp up hiring

Cloud-based ERP provider Acumatica has opened a new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. The facility aims to accelerate product innovation and will initially focus on engineering, with plans to expand into other disciplines.
Why it matters
The expansion reflects the continued trend of global software companies establishing R&D hubs in India to leverage local engineering talent.
Cloud-based ERP solutions provider for small and mid-sized businesses Acumatica on Monday announced opening of its global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad.
The centre, established to accelerate product innovation, has opened with 30 employees and more will be joining in the coming months. The Hyderabad GCC joins Acumatica’s existing operations across the U.S. Canada, Serbia, and Sri Lanka. Initially focused on engineering, the centre also creates opportunities for Acumatica to expand into additional disciplines over time and support continued regional growth, the company said.
