Accra Airport Terminal 3 car park to be relocated for seven-storey facility project
The Ghana Airports Company Limited is temporarily closing the Terminal 3 car park at Kotoka International Airport to build a new seven-storey complex. A temporary annex with 600 parking spaces has been opened to accommodate travelers during the construction period.

The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced the temporary closure of the existing Terminal 3 car park at the Kotoka International Airport from Monday, July 20, 2026, to allow for the construction of a new seven-storey multi-purpose car park and airport hotel complex.
In a public notice issued on Thursday, July 16, the company said the closure would affect airport users and stakeholders as construction works on the new facility commence.
To minimise disruptions and ensure continued access to parking services, GACL said it has completed the development of a Terminal 3 Car Park Annex, which will be used during the construction period.
