Acclaimed life sim sandbox RPG Kynseed launches for consoles today
The life simulation RPG Kynseed, developed by former Fable series veterans, has officially launched on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The console release includes all major content updates and optimizations developed since the game's 2022 PC debut.

Guildford, UK - 4 August 2026 - PixelCount Studios has today announced that its acclaimed life sim sandbox RPG, Kynseed is now available on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Developed by Fable veterans, Kynseed invites players to explore the enchanting hand-crafted world of Quill where they will live through a story spanning generations. They'll raise a family, farm the land, run a business and befriend many of Quill's colourful NPCs. When a character dies, control passes to their children and the adventure continues.
Kynseed on console launches with fully optimised gameplay for each device, plus every major content update released since the game's PC debut in December 2022, bringing years of community-driven improvements, new features and expanded content to players from day one.
