NEW DELHI: Police visited Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee's residence in Kolkata on Sunday. They served a notice summoning him for another round of questioning in connection with the Camac Street party office billboard case, an officer said. This was the police's second visit to his Kalighat residence in a week to serve the notice.A team from Shakespeare Sarani police station reached the Diamond Harbour MP's residence to deliver the notice. The move followed a complaint lodged by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). The civic body alleged that police personnel and civic workers were harassed and assaulted while trying to remove TMC signage from a building on Camac Street that houses a party office.Police had visited Banerjee's residence on October 7 for the same purpose. However, he was not at home at the time.
