The defensive tackle has decided to come out of retirement and re-join the Los Angeles Rams, the team announced . Donald reached a one-year, $20 million deal with the franchise on Sunday, and he can earn another $10 million in incentives on the contract.
Donald said he's been locked in to his training for the last 13 or 14 weeks, testing out his body and making sure that he was physically able to still play pro football. The decision comes after the Rams made a blockbuster trade to acquire defensive superstar Myles Garrett on June 1, something Donald said absolutely helped his decision. Playing alongside him, he thought when Garrett first landed with the team, would be fun.
