NEW DELHI: The AAP on Tuesday alleged a "jugalbandi" (duet) between the BJP and Congress after the grand old party launched a sit-in outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence over alleged police brutality during the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) march to Parliament a day earlier."This is amazing! CJP and Sonam Wangchuk: One month protest at Jantar Mantar. Modi govt refuses to talk to them. Rahul Gandhi: Allowed to protest outside PM residence. In one hour Modi Govt starts dialogue. Wah! Kya jugalbandi hai!" AAP leader and former Delhi chief minister Atishi said in a post on X. "To weaken the CJP's dharna, Modi ji has seated @RahulGandhi on a dharna at his residence," AAP MP Sanjay Singh posted.Responding to Atishi's post, Congress leader BV Srinivas claimed that the "duet" was, in fact, between the AAP and BJP."You must have faced a lot of trouble. We can understand.
