The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, led by North West Delhi MP, Yogender Chandoliya staged a protest outside the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headquarters on Sunday, demanding the dismissal of AAP councillor from Trilokpuri Vijay Kumar for allegedly harassing a sanitation worker and abetting his suicide.

“Why are [AAP chief] Arvind Kejriwal, [party’s Delhi unit chief] Saurabh Bharadwaj and [area MLA] Kuldeep Kumar silent despite serious allegations against AAP councillor Vijay Kumar?” Mr. Chandoliya said. The police briefly detained several BJP workers and leaders, including the Lok Sabha member, during the protest.
