AAP-BJP spar over Parvesh’s ‘slap’ during Delhi road inspection

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Monday (September 28, 2026) said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should get Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, who slapped a person on camera, arrested to win the hearts of Gen-Z.

“If BJP minister publicly slaps Gen-Z youngster, how will Gen-Z connect with Prime Minister?” Mr. Kejriwal asked.

“Let me tell you how you can connect with Gen-Z. The Prime Minister must arrest his Minister today. Arrest everyone who built that road and committed corruption. Then, Modi ji, you will not need to make reels at midnight, nor will you need to go bhajan-clubbing, and Gen-Z across the country will connect with you,” he added.
