AAP alleges death of girl at a PG in Satya Niketan area

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday (September 15, 2026) protested in south Delhi's Satya Niketan, alleging the death of a girl in one of the several paying guest accommodations that dot the area, and accused the city police of "hiding" the incident.

AAP Delhi unit president Saurabh Bharadwaj and party workers raised slogans against the local BJP MLA and the police.

"Delhi Police should provide information on whether a girl fell to her death in a nearby paying guest facility. Why is the police silent on the entire matter?" Mr. Bharadwaj asked.

An officer responded, "We have already shared all the details. There is nothing new or additional." The AAP also attacked BJP MLA Anil Sharma, alleging that despite "evidence" of his "illegal" PG in Satya Niketan, the police took no action because they have no courage.
