The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday accused Delhi Police of trying to hide the death of a girl at a paying guest (PG) accommodation in south Delhi’s Satya Niketan area. The police, however, stated they have not received any such complaint.

In a post on X on Tuesday, AAP Delhi president Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged that local residents have said that a few weeks ago, a female student died here after falling from a PG under suspicious circumstances. He accused the police of hushing up the matter instead of conducting a fair investigation.

“If one of our daughters fell from a PG and died, the police should provide the information to established under what circumstances she fell. Why is the police silent on the entire matter," he said, after visiting the area.
