Airports Authority of India (AAI) will install sanitary napkin vending machines at Chennai airport soon.
Officials of AAI said, the work has been awarded already to a firm and the installation of the machines will begin shortly.
“Sanitary napkins are already available in the terminals and signages are placed in the washrooms and frisking booths. If a passenger asks, it will be provided within two minutes,” an official said.
This aside, AAI plans to install vending machines soon, he added.
