A Meta staffer said that in similar cases, Muse was "following direct instructions and correctly asked for permission." Matt Robb said that a Facebook Marketplace buyer showed up at his building's door — but he hadn't given him the address, his Muse AI agent did. Robb is a tech reviewer on YouTube who used Muse to list a computer keyboard on Facebook Marketplace, he wrote on Threads. Robb said Muse then accepted a "lowball" offer, gave out his home address, and communicated with the buyer when he arrived — all without his knowledge.
