Artist Charlie Nivison was commissioned to paint over a mural his father had created in 1983.
Joy McKean's children hope the mural helps viewers recognise their parents' contribution to Australian country music and Charlie Nivison hopes to pass on the paintbrush to the next generation of family artists.
