This promising premise sprung from a tete-a-tete a large group of school students in Tiruppur had with District Collector Manish Narnaware on Saturday (August 29, 2026).
About 170 students had their attention affixed to the ‘Coffee with Collector’ interactive session organised at the Collectorate by the Rotary Club of Tiruppur South under the aegis of ‘The Hindu In School’.
The session witnessed the young minds discussing the core issues the administration has been grappling with with clarity of purpose
Spanning about two hours, students articulated with elan matters pertaining to solid waste management, pollution of River Noyyal, ground water depletion, techno-textiles, rainwater harvesting, women’s safety, drug culture and so on, and sought solutions.
