A.P. Tourism Minister clarifies, land for Kapu Bhavan does not belong to Telugu University
Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh clarified that the land allocated for the new Kapu Bhavan does not belong to the Sri Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University. The project, supported by the Kapu Welfare Association, aims to provide a community facility in the East Godavari district.

Minister for Tourism and Culture Kandula Durgesh and Rajamahendravaram MP D. Purandeswari on Monday performed ‘bhumi puja’ for the construction of a Kapu Bhavan on 30 cents of land near the Collectorate in East Godavari district.
The Kapu Bhavan, will include a function hall, will be built by the Kapu Welfare Association, which has been tasked with raising funds for the project.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Duresh said that the State government has alloted 30 cents of land near the Collectorate for the Kapu Bhavan.
