A.P. schools must emerge as role models for education, says Samagra Shiksha Director

Srinivasa Rao, on Monday (October 5, 2026) said that the schools in the State must emerge as role models for comprehensive education in the country. He further added that a safe and joyful learning environment is essential to nurture students as responsible citizens.
Participating as the chief guest in the inaugural programme of the three-day residential Yoga Training Programme for teachers of PM SHRI schools in Andhra Pradesh, at Kanha Shanti Vanam in Hyderabad, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said 1,870 teachers, with two teachers from each of the 935 PM Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) across the State, are being trained under the programme.
