Minister of Health Satya Kumar Yadav on Monday (July 20, 2026) flagged off the annual Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra organised by ISKCON (The International Society for Krishna Consciousness) in Dharmavaram town of Sri Sathya Sai district, drawing large participation from devotees and residents.
The procession commenced from the RTC Bus Stand and proceeded through the town amid devotional chants and spiritual fervour. The Minister performed special prayers and formally launched the yatra after traditional rituals.
Decorated idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra were taken out in a grand chariot procession.
