A.P. govt. to fill 10,060 vacant posts
The Andhra Pradesh government has authorized the recruitment of 10,060 vacant posts across various departments as part of its 2026 Job Calendar. The recruitment will occur in phases, prioritizing infrastructure, education, and public service delivery.

The Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday issued a G.O. Ms.No.81, according permission to the A.P. Public Service Commission, State-Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), DSC etc., to fill 10,060 vacancies in various departments through direct recruitment as per the Job Calendar-2026.
These include 1,523 posts already notified by the Higher Education Department in Phase-I on May 15, 2026. The notification for the remaining posts: 3,231 in Phase-II will be issued on September 15, and 2,311 in Phase-III and 2,995 in Phase-IV—will be issued on October 15, 2026.
The G.O. said that the government has undertaken the recruitment exercise in a structured and phased manner through an Annual Job Calendar and its policy priorities were infrastructure creation, revenue mobilisation, education, welfare, law and order.
