The State government is inviting applications for the Nandi Natakotsavalu-2025 from theatre groups, schools, colleges, universities and individuals for 2025. Applications are invited in various categories, including Padya Natakalu (verse plays), social plays, social dramas, children’s plays, college/university plays, and books written on theatre and theatre arts.
The Andhra Pradesh State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation Limited Managing Director K.S. Viswanathan, in a press release, said that for the Kandukuri Puraskaralu–2026 , applications are invited from Pauranika (mythological) and social theatre artistes, directors, technical experts, writers and theatre organisations who have rendered outstanding services to the field of theatre. The Kandukuri Rangasthala Pratibha Puraskar will be presented at the State level, while the Kandukuri Visishta Puraskaralu will be presented at the district level, he informed.
