Capetown, September 7: General Hertzog’s speech at a meeting in the City Hall on the eve of his departure to attend the Imperial Conference dealing with the Flag Bill has foreshadowed a compromise and he declared that if the Committee on the flag should recommend the inclusion of a crown in it he was confident that the Government would approve it.
