London, October 11: Sir T. Vijayaraghavachariar arrived in London to-day from Canada and will leave for India in a few days to take up his position on the Public Services Commission. Interviewed by Reuter he said he was very glad he had an unequalled opportunity of presenting India to the people of the great Dominion.
He had a wonderful greeting everywhere. He found India little known in Canada, but one of the Dominion Ministers, on his departures, declared that India had at length become more real to the Canadians.
It was no longer a land of mystery for them and its place in the Empire was better understood and appreciated.
