A fourth T6SS in clinical Pseudomonas aeruginosa deploys the pore-forming effector TseMt

Scientists have identified a fourth type VI secretion system (H4-T6SS) in clinical strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The study reveals that this system, when activated, deploys a pore-forming toxin called TseMt to kill competing bacteria.
