Featuring Filipino talent on and off screen, the animated adventure shines a light on the country's rich mythology and cultural heritage

Prior to its release in local theaters, DreamWorks Animation’s “Forgotten Island” made headlines on social media because of its nod to Filipino culture. At the special screening arranged by DreamWorks at Opus Mall last Sept. 17, guests expressed their excitement upon seeing Filipino culture represented on the big screen, ahead of its nationwide premiere.
