92.83% of enumeration forms digitised in Udupi district: DC

The Deputy Commissioner of Udupi district, T.K. Swaroopa, on Wednesday said the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll was progressing well and that 9,87,587 enumeration forms out of a total of 10,63,876 voters had been digitised so far, achieving a progress rate of 92.83%.
Chairing a review meeting on the SIR exercise with representatives of political parties at Rajatadri, the district office complex in Manipal, Ms. Swaroopa said that of the 1,112 polling booths in the district, 100% digitisation of enumeration forms had been completed in 733. Of the booths where digitisation has been completed, verification is complete in 562, while minor verifications are pending in 171.
