78.3% voters enrolled in Telangana SIR; draft rolls to be published on August 17
Telangana has concluded the enumeration phase of its electoral roll revision, with 78.3% of voters successfully enrolled. Draft rolls are scheduled for publication on August 17, 2026.

Accurate electoral rolls are fundamental to the integrity of democratic processes and voter participation.
A 78.3% of the voters existing in the current voters’ list have enrolled themselves during the Special Intensive Revision of the Electoral Rolls in Telangana , the Enumeration phase of which concluded on August 10, 2026 at midnight.
As per the numbers shared by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, against the electorate of 3,38,26,448, a total 2,64,86,214 electors filled the enumeration forms either online or physically.
Permanently shifted residents, at 45,18, 961, constituted a huge portion of the remaining 73,39,274 that have been categorised as Uncollectable.
A total 9,22,230 electors are classified as dead, while 11,25,546 are marked as absent/ untraceable.
The ‘Uncollectable forms’ category also includes 6,70,203 voters who had already enrolled themselves, and 1,02,294 categorised as ‘others’.
