76.23% of RSETI trained persons opened enterprises in over three years, says Union government
The Union government reports that over 76% of individuals trained by the Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) in Dakshina Kannada have successfully established their own enterprises. The program aims to alleviate poverty by providing skill development and credit-linkage support to rural youth.

Of the 2,957 persons trained by Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Ujire, in Dakshina Kannada during the last three financial years and till this June, 2,254 persons (76.23%) are settled or established their enterprises, according to the Union government.
They were trained under Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs) conducted by RSETI, Jayant Chaudhary, Union Minister of State (Independent charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, told the Lok Sabha on Monday.
