NTPC Ramagundam distributed 71 bicycles to Class IX girl students of four government high schools as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

The initiative is aimed at facilitating easier access to schools and supporting the students in pursuing their education, said a press release.

The bicycles were distributed at a programme held on the premises of the NTPC township in Ramagundam on Tuesday.

The programme also saw the inauguration of a 'Yoga & Self Defence Training' programme for girl students of Government High Schools in the surrounding areas.
