70-year-old gang-raped, murdered after objecting to men drinking near her home

LUCKNOW: A 70-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped and murdered by two men after she objected to them consuming alcohol near her house in the Mohanlalganj area, police said on Friday.The accused, identified as Rajesh alias Guddu (30) and Hariram Rawat (34), were arrested following a complaint lodged by the victim’s family.According to police, the two men were drinking near the woman’s residence when an argument broke out after she objected to their presence. The accused allegedly sexually assaulted her and then attacked her.
