<p>The number of people affected by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and Tropical Cyclones Luis and Maymay has risen to 7.4 million, or 2.1 million families, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Saturday.</p><p>The updated number of affected population was recorded as of 6 a.m. from Regions I, II, III, V, VI, IX, CALABARZON, Cordillera Administrative Region, National Capital Region, and MIMAROPA.</p><p>The total number of casualties remains at 29 deaths, 19 injuries, and three missing persons.</p><p>Of the recorded fatalities, 15 were reported in Benguet; four in Rizal and Batangas; two in Caloocan; and one each in La Union, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, and Negros Occidental.</p><p>Due to the severe weather, 40,600 individuals…
