The Delhi Police have arrested three men and seized 683 kg of prohibited firecrackers allegedly being stored and transported illegally in Rohini, officials said on Thursday.
The accused have been identified as Ravi, 35, a resident of Vijay Vihar Phase-II, and Ram Kumar, 47, and Chand, 49, both residents of Avantika in Sector 1, Rohini.
The arrests followed a raid at a godown in Budh Vihar, where the three men were allegedly found loading firecrackers into a car and a scooter, the police said.
The firecrackers were seized from the godown, and the two vehicles allegedly being used to transport them were also seized.
