6,000 Tapentadol tablets seized; four arrested in Thanjavur
Thanjavur police arrested four individuals for the illegal possession and sale of 6,000 Tapentadol tablets. The investigation revealed a supply network originating from a trading company in Nagpur.

The Thanjavur District Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) on Friday arrested four persons for possession and sale of Tapentadol tablets.
The arrested persons were identified as T. Prakash alias Madu Prakash, 26, H. Mohamed Abbas, 25, M. Sanjay Sampath, 23, and C. Subash, 24, all from Thanjavur.
According to police sources, ANTF arrested two persons, Satishkumar and Ranjithkumar, and seized 1,000 Tapentadol tablets from them on August 30. A case was registered at Maruvur police station, and the two accused were remanded.
During investigation into the supply network, police found links to Sai Trading Company in Nagpur. Based on information, ANTF arrested the four men on Friday and seized 6,000 Tapentadol tablets and a car.
