Keralam Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan announced the successful completion of 568 out of 588 projects under the government's 100-day action plan. The administration is now launching 'Janasparsham,' a file-clearing initiative aimed at resolving long-pending administrative tasks through data-driven governance.
Why it matters
This initiative highlights efforts to improve bureaucratic efficiency and public service delivery in regional Indian governance.
Keralam Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan on Friday said his government has successfully completed 568 of 588 projects planned under a 100-day action plan launched on July 1 this year. The Chief Minister also announced the government’s second ‘mission’ christened ‘Janasparsham’ -- a ‘File Adalat’ lasting from October 15 to December 31 to dispose of pending files. “During the 100 days, the government was able to settle many issues that had remained unresolved,” Mr. Satheesan said. Progress on the remaining 20 projects has exceeded 90%.
