₹56.5-crore road project to Sidilu Mallikarjuna Swamy Hill launched
Minister for Public Works Satish Jarkiholi launched a ₹56.5-crore project to construct a road to the Sri Sidilu Mallikarjuna Swamy hill-shrine at Bettadapura in Mysuru district. This initiative aims to fulfill a long-standing demand, making the Chola period shrine, which currently requires climbing 3,108 steps, more accessible to devotees and visitors.

He said the ₹56.5-crore road project to the Chola period hill-shrine would fulfill a long-standing demand of the people of the region. The hill had about 3,108 steps and required a road for easier access. With the commencement of the project, devotees and visitors would be able to reach the hill by road, he said.
