₹41.5-crore housing complex for 128 Bengaluru police constables inaugurated

The Karnataka government has inaugurated a new ₹41.5-crore residential complex for police constables in Bengaluru. The facility includes 128 housing units equipped with modern amenities like solar heating and sewage treatment.

Home Minister Priyank Kharge inaugurated a ₹41.50-crore residential complex with 128 housing units for police constables near Anand Rao Circle on Thursday.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Kharge said providing police personnel with decent housing and a conducive environment for their families was the government’s responsibility, considering the risks they undertake while serving to protect society.
Built under the Police Gruha 2025 scheme, the complex comprises two residential blocks, each with 64 units. Each block has a stilt floor, ground floor and seven upper floors, with a total built-up area of 11,944.30 sq. m.
