NOIDA: A 40-year-old man died and his wife was injured after a Thar SUV and their scooter collided in the Bisrakh police station area on Monday, police said.The deceased has been identified as Neeraj, a resident of Chipiyana village in the Bisrakh area.According to police, the accident took place on Monday when Neeraj and his wife were travelling on a scooter. A Thar SUV was also involved in the collision.Both Neeraj and his wife sustained injuries in the accident. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.However, Neeraj succumbed to his injuries during treatment, while his wife continues to receive medical care.Police said the body was taken into custody and a legal proceedings were done before sending it for postmortem examination.Police have taken the Thar SUV into custody.
