4 kg rice to be distributed to students for Onam in Keralam

Minister for General Education N. Samsudheen on Wednesday will inaugurate the distribution of 4 kg of rice to schoolchildren as part of the mid-day meal scheme in connection with Onam.
At a press conference here on Tuesday, the Minister said the State-level inauguration of the scheme would be held at Government Model Higher Secondary School for Girls, Pattom, in the State capital at 8.30 a.m.
All students from pre-primary to class VIII in government and aided schools who are included in the mid-day meal scheme will benefit, the Minister said.
