396 teachers in Tamil Nadu honoured with Dr. Radhakrishnan Award

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day on Saturday (September 5, 2026), the Tamil Nadu government honoured the 396 best teachers across the State with the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award at the Anna Centenary Library in Chennai.
Speaking at the event, School Education Minister Rajmohan said, “TN-Arivu must be taken to every street of the State. Our approach to inclusive education should be taken to every corner of Tamil Nadu. No child must be left behind, and everyone will be included.”
A total of 171 teachers from higher secondary schools, 171 teachers from elementary schools, 38 teachers from private schools, two from Anglo-Indian schools, two from schools under Social Defence, among others, were felicitated at the event.
