37 fugitives nabbed in Cordillera; 53 towns log zero crime incidents

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet -- A weeklong manhunt operation conducted resulted in the arrest of 37 wanted persons and no crime incident was reported in 53 municipalities across the Cordillera from September 13 to 19. PBGen. Noel Vallo,regional director of Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region said, the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) recorded the highest number of arrests with 12 wanted persons, followed by the Baguio City Police Office with 11; Kalinga PPO, five; Ifugao PPO, four; Abra PPO, three; and the Regional Headquarters and Mountain Province PPO, one each.
