320 trainee APSP constables explore Coringa mangroves in Kakinada district
Trainee constables from the Andhra Pradesh Special Police visited the Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary to learn about mangrove ecosystems. The visit was part of an environmental awareness program focused on biodiversity and coastal protection.

As many as 320 trainee Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) constables of the 3rd Battalion, Kakinada, on Sunday explored Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary as part of an environmental awareness programme.
Kakinada District Forest Officer N. Ramachandrarao and Forest Range Officer S.S.R. Varaprasad explained to them the significance of the mangrove ecosystem, biodiversity and the role of mangroves in protecting the coast from natural calamities. The trainee constables also visited the Coringa Nature Camp, Nature Interpretation Centre, and other eco-tourism facilities during their one-day visit.
