32 pubs in Hyderabad found without valid Fire NOCs
The Telangana Fire Services department has issued notices to 32 pubs in Hyderabad for failing to maintain valid Fire No Objection Certificates or for having fire safety deficiencies. The department conducted inspections of 77 establishments to ensure public safety compliance.

Nearly four out of 10 pubs inspected by the Telangana Fire Services were found either operating without valid Fire No Objection Certificates (Fire NOCs) or with fire safety deficiencies, prompting the department to issue notices to 32 establishments.
As part of an enforcement drive, the department inspected 77 pubs across Hyderabad. While 45 establishments had valid Fire NOCs, the remaining 32 were found non-compliant. Notices have been issued to all 32, directing them to rectify the deficiencies within the stipulated time, failing which legal action will be initiated under the Telangana Fire Service Act.
The inspections were followed by a fire safety awareness programme for pub managements and representatives at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) in Gachibowli on Wednesday.
