31-year-old techie killed as lorry rams bike at PM Palem

A 31-year-old software engineer was killed in a hit-and-run accident involving a lorry on NH-16 in Visakhapatnam. The victim was riding his motorcycle when he was struck from behind and dragged by the vehicle.

A 31-year-old software employee was killed after a lorry allegedly rammed his motorcycle from behind near the Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on NH-16 under the P.M. Palem police station limits in Visakhapatnam in the early hours of Sunday.
The deceased was identified as K Avinash, a resident of Madhurawada.
According to the police, the accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday when Avinash was travelling towards Madhurawada from the city on his motorcycle.
When he reached the YSR Cricket Stadium Junction on NH-16, a lorry, allegedly being driven at high speed in a rash and negligent manner, hit his motorcycle from behind.
