31 Bangladeshi nationals sent from Bengaluru to West Bengal for deportation
Bengaluru police have deported 31 Bangladeshi nationals to West Bengal as part of 'Operation Muktha'. This initiative aims to identify and remove illegal immigrants residing in the city.

Thirty-one Bangladeshi nationals detained by 10 different police stations in Bengaluru were sent to Malda in West Bengal on Monday (August 31) as part of the process to deport them to Bangladesh.
The deportees were transported from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru to Malda Railway Station. They are being escorted by a team of 20 police personnel and are expected to reach Malda on Tuesday (September 1) at around 5 p.m.
The action was taken as part of ‘Operation Muktha’, the ongoing drive by Bengaluru City Police to identify and track illegal immigrants residing in the city.
