Thirty bottles of liquor being transported illegally from Goa to Nalgonda were seized by the Excise State Task Force during a vehicle check in Nalgonda district.
Acting on information about the transportation of liquor from Goa, a team led by Excise CI Ganapathi Reddy conducted checks along the Cheruvugattu-Narketpally-Nalgonda route.
During the operation, the officials intercepted a car on the Narketpally-Nalgonda road and found 30 bottles of Goa-origin liquor inside the vehicle. The driver, identified as Yethigoni Krishna Kumar, 36, a resident of Nalgonda, was taken into custody.
