An Anti Narcotic Task Force team in Tiruvarur district seized 30 kg of ganja at Needamangalam railway junction on Tuesday.
Police sources said the team caught S Pravag Bagh, a native of Odisha and currently residing at Gobichettipalayam in Erode district, from whose possession the contraband was confiscated.
During inquiry, the accused reportedly confessed that the contraband was meant to be delivered to two persons in Nagapattinam. It was smuggled from Odisha to Tamil Nadu.
